Elections matter because politicians create laws that help or hurt our families and communities. By getting involved during election season, we can help decide who represents us and let them know the issues we care about. In 2017, one Virginia House race ended in a tie, so we know that every vote matters.

Oregon families who experience hunger know what it’s like to make the tough, daily decision between food and other basic necessities. Our housing, childcare, medical and transportation costs are all increasing while our wages remain stagnant, and we are forced to make difficult decisions about where to make cuts in already too tight budgets. Oregonians experiencing hunger also know that elected leaders can make a remarkable difference in our daily lives.
All New Mexicans deserve access to quality, affordable healthcare. A Medicaid Buy-In would allow New Mexico residents who are locked our of coverage to purchase comprehensive coverage.

Driving is huge part of our lives and really important for
many of us. This tool helps participants understand the impact of lack of driver’s licenses on affected communities in
Oregon and helps them take action to support Oregon Driver’s Licenses for All campaign.
Forward Together works to ensure all Oregon families have the rights, recognition and resources they need to thrive. We work with women of color and trans/nonbinary individuals and their families on healthcare access, rights for all families, and building safe communities. One way we build power is by working to change laws and policies in Oregon.
