Oregon Field Organizer, Forward Together

Jackeline (Jakki) joined Forward Together as the Oregon Field Organizer in November 2017. As the Field Organizer, she engages Oregonians primarily in Portland for healthcare access, family recognition and safe communities. Originally from Reno, Jakki studied Spanish and women’s studies at the University of Nevada where she began organizing around reproductive justice and immigrants’ rights. Most recently, Jakki served as a Raíz Organizer for Planned Parenthood Federation of America where she worked with Latinx communities on fights for reproductive health, sex education and access to care. When she’s not at work, you can find Jakki traveling, trying new Thai places, binging Netflix shows and tweeting.
