Leslie Lopez (she/her/ella)

Digital Coordinator, Forward Together

Leslie Lopez (she/her/ella) is a Black Mexican-American, disabled lesbian living on occupied Jumanos, Kickapoo, Tawakoni, and Wichita lands known as North Texas. She first came to the reproductive justice movement by way of a summer internship placement at the Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR). Following this transformative experience, she began leading political education meetings at the University of North Texas with a group of peers. Upon graduating, Leslie worked as Sex Ed with DB’s social media intern then at All-Options in a fundraising and communications role. When not encouraging folks to get involved in movement work, you can find Leslie reading her way through piles of library books and cooking huge batches of soup to share with her friends.
