Manuela Delnevo (she/her)
Donor Organizing Manager, Forward TogetherManuela works with Forward Together and Forward Together Action’s grassroots donors to deepen their engagement beyond charitable giving and towards transformational relationships with social justice movements. She is excited to build with a base of supporters who wish to grow in their political journey and contribute to the work in multiple ways. As a recent migrant to the U.S. who built community in large part by being active in grassroots feminist, anti-capitalist, pro-immigrant Latin American collectives in the Bay Area, she is passionate about the ways community organizing can act as connecting tissue and inspire us to embody different ways of relating to one another.
Manuela is Colombian and Italian by nationality, but a perpetual foreigner and third-culture kid at heart, having grown up in many different places around the world. Prior to working at Forward Together, she completed her MA in Women and Gender Studies at San Francisco State University. She previously worked as an English and Spanish teacher in Vietnam, the UK and Gabon, learning with and from students of all ages and backgrounds.
Outside of work, Manuela loves to dance, sing, have long chats with her family and friends, kiss her cat’s head, and eat delicious food with her partner.
