Come celebrate Oregon mamas with us!

Mamahood is not one size fits all. But most popular images of mothers exclude mamas based on their sexual orientation, gender, race, income, immigration status and more. Our mamas deserve to be seen and honored. Join us this year to celebrate Mamas in Oregon!

Join our hosts Cole and Dayna Reed, Rae Dunnaville, YeeWon Chong, Cleo Tung, Abel Valladares, Jessie Burke, Lindsay Sadlou, and Ruthie Crawford to build community and challenge the narrative around motherhood. You’ll also have the opportunity to write cards to the mamas in your lives. Food and beverages will be provided.

This years theme is *Black Mama’s* are Trailblazers. *Black Mamas*/ face a number of challenges and their ability to survive and thrive is an act of resistance. According to the CDC, black mothers in the U.S. die at three to four times the rate of white mothers, one of the widest of all racial disparities in women’s health. At this dinner, we will celebrate Black mamas for all the amazing things they do and for being the cornerstones of their communities despite the statistics.
